Hailing from a Northampton council estate, his easy conversational manner, irreverent charm and left-field punchlines have brought him early critical acclaim, winning awards in two national new comic competitions, being nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award in both 2018 & 2019 (reaching the last 10 out of 700 in 2019), and being listed on the BBC's top jokes of the Fringe 2019.
